<p>The 15th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP15) is using a Sound Logo.<br />
(&#8230;) The four simple tones represent the fact that we need to act on climate change now and the complex base represents the causes and effects of climate change (&#8230;)</p>
<p>“Composing the sound, we took our starting point from the visual COP15 logo with its emphasis on the tension between the complex and the simple. You have to be able to sing the sound of the logo, so it had to be melodic, yet it also had to be complex enough to stand the test of many replays without becoming boring,” says Mr. Abrahamsen.</p>
<p>“We wanted a strong identity for COP15 – both visually and audibly. The sound logo contributes to raising awareness of the conference and its crucial role,” says Klavs A. Holm, Ambassador of Public Diplomacy at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.</p>

<p>By organizing the first international congress for acoustic brand communication, the Audio Branding Academy brought together audio branding experts and interested people from all over the world on November 14th, 2009.<strong><br />
</strong>Internationally acclaimed experts from practice and science like the British musicologist Prof. Dr. Adrian North (Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh), the composer of the Intel audio logo, Walter Werzowa from Hollywood or expert for neuromarketing Dr. Hans-Georg Häusel presented new insights, innovative approaches, proven methods of audio branding and best practice cases. “It was very exciting to see participants from all over the world coming together and making this congress a real international event”, says Cornelius Ringe, founder of the Audio Branding Academy.<br />
“Germany is one of the centers of acoustic brand communication. <p>The Audio Branding Academy was founded by Cornelius Ringe, Kai Bronner and Rainer Hirt in Hamburg in February 2009. It is the first independent institute for acoustic brand communication, aiming at promoting an intentional and responsible use of acoustic stimuli within brand communication.<br />
The Audio Branding Academy is a unique competence center for intersection points of brands, sound and environment and combines a forum, think tank, expert network and education. It hosts the annual Audio Branding Congress and regularly organizes workshops on various audio branding related topics.</p>
